「Merry Christmas, Big Hungry Bear」是一本關於「愛、分享」，「感恩跟祝福」的溫馨聖誕繪本；它是「The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and the Big Hungry Bear」的延伸故事。去年12月份的時候，是當時嫩薑很常點播的聖誕繪本之一。
🔆「The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and the Big Hungry Bear」有出毛毛蟲點讀版，也在廖彩杏書單裡(最底有繪本連結)。
整篇故事以第一人稱的角度和故事裡的小老鼠對話，互動性很高；句子不難，難在考驗爸媽說故事的功力，語調、語氣的變化；搭配角色扮演會讓故事更生動活潑。
嗨～小老鼠！看你已經準備好要過聖誕節囉！天啊！好多禮物唷～這些都是你的嗎？
👩：「Wow! Little Mouse has plenty of presents. How many presents here?
」
👦：「Countless!」
👩：「Little Mouse looks so happy and proud that he has so many presents.」
但小老鼠，那住在山頂寒冷洞穴裡的飢餓大熊呢？
👩：「Big hungry bear?」假裝小老鼠疑惑的語氣。「Little Mouse is putting a star on where?」
👦：「the top of the tree.」
👩：「Did we put the star on the tree together?」
👦：「No!」🤣
👩：「Yeah, Mummy put the star. When you grow tall enough, you can put the star on top of the tree by yourself!」
每年的聖誕節，大熊都獨自坐在寒冷黑暗的洞穴裡，眼淚從他飢餓的大眼睛滑落。
👩：「Can you say "Oh, poor big hungry bear"?」
👦：「Poor hungry bear.」
👩：「What can we do to help the big hungry bear?」
勇敢的小老鼠決定獨自前往大熊的洞穴。
👩：「Little Mouse is so brave cause he goes to the cave alone on such a cold dark night.」
正在幫大熊裝飾聖誕樹時，「快躲起來，小老鼠！有人在偷看。」
👩：「Let's say "Hide, Little Mouse" together. 」
小老鼠從躲著的毯子探出頭來看到一個超大的禮物，「聖誕快樂！」
👩：「Wow, Little Mouse saw a ______.」
👦：「Present.」
👩：「A small present? 」
👦：「Big present!」

👦：「Camera!」其實是自己想要的禮物🤣
這本「Merry Christmas, Big Hungry Bear!」插圖和前一本一樣亮麗鮮豔，封面滿滿的禮物非常有聖誕氣氛！故事內容也很有意義，符合聖誕節想要傳達的概念「Christmas is the season to give love and share joy.」很值得收藏的聖誕節繪本❤️。
