草莓給誰吃？「The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear」

嫩薑對草莓沒什麼抵抗力，最近共讀完這本「The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and the Big Hungry Bear」後，就常常說：「媽媽，我們可以去採草莓嗎？」

這本用字不難、字數少，句子也是常見生活化的，大開圖片很漂亮；共讀的時候我常常和嫩薑一起看圖說故事！偶而扮演一下小老鼠的角色，嫩薑還蠻喜歡的～

哈囉！小老鼠，你在幹嘛呢？

👩：「What a lovely little mouse! What do you see?」

👶：「A ladder.」

👩：「What is he gonna do with the ladder?」

👶：「Pick the strawberry」

喔～我知道了！你要摘下那個已經成熟的紅色草莓？

👩：「Yes, I want to eat this red ripe strawberry. It looks so delicious!」扮演小老鼠的角色。

但小老鼠你有聽過一隻飢餓的大熊嗎？

👩：「Up, up, up the little mouse climbs. 」「What can you say to the little mouse for his climbing up the ladder?」

👶：「Careful, the little mouse.」

👩：「Careful, the little mouse, not to fall off the ladder. 」

👩：「Who? the Big Hungry Bear? It sounds scary!」扮演小老鼠的角色😱。

那隻大熊喜歡熟成的紅色草莓唷！

飢餓的大熊在一英里以外的地方就能聞到成熟紅草莓的味道。

👩：「Oh, no! This strawberry is mine!」扮演小老鼠的角色。「The little mouse is pulling so hard! Can you do him a favour?」

尤其是剛剛摘下來的那顆草莓。

飢餓的大熊邁開大腳，蹦蹦蹦穿過森林，聞一聞，嗅一嗅，然後找到草莓！

👩：「The little mouse takes the strawberry and runs away. 」

👶：「I want the hungry bear to eat soil.」嫩薑突然天外飛來這一句，表達不想分草莓給大熊😂。

不管藏在哪裡都可以找得到，

👶：「Hide the strawberry in the mud.」

👩：「Or we can ....」

不管誰在看管它，

👩：「Chain the strawberry with a lock. You know how to the lock?」手指的鎖頭。

👶：「The key.」

又或是草莓如何偽裝。

👩：「Where is the strawberry?」

👶：「Here!」

👩：「Does it look like a strawberry?」

👶：「It wears glasses.」嫩薑在這裡笑很久，小孩的笑點真可愛😍！

👩：「It has a big nose. It looks funny!」

👶：「Funny!」嫩薑自己講完這個字，又一直笑～😂

快一點！這世界上只有一種方法可以從飢餓大熊手中拯救這顆成熟紅草莓！

👩：「Where is the strawberry? 」

👶：「Here.」

👩：「Under the _____.」

👶：「Blanket!」

👩：「So what is a good way to save the strawberry?」

把它切成兩半！

👶：「Cut it in two!」「Half is mine!」立刻說另一半是他的，真的很想吃！

👶：「Why he say push?」這邊點小老鼠的時候他會發出push的聲音。

👩：「He says push while he is pushing down the knife. 」

然後分一半給我。

👶：「Is this for me?」

我們兩個一起吃光光！好好吃～

這樣，飢餓大熊就永遠得不到這個成熟紅草莓了！

👩：「Where is the little mouse? 」

👩：「There it is! It's in a hammock, sleeping. What do we often say to each other before we sleep?」

👶：「Nighty night!」

📌 延伸活動-採草莓(Strawberry-Picking)

採草莓時，嫩薑會挑選綠色的草莓，

👩：「Let's pick big red ripe strawberries as the little mouse does. Yummy red strawberries! Green strawberries are not ready to pick!」

白色草莓花，有五個花瓣(petals)，中間綠色部分是草莓的幼果，隨著植株生長、花朵代謝掉落，果實會慢慢長大變紅。

給嫩薑看草莓長大的縮時攝影(草莓的蚜蟲好多啊！)；看完覺得有趣，這兩三天吃草莓之前會說想要再看一次影片😆；之後邊吃草莓開心之餘，會描述一下草莓生長過程。

這個影片蟲害就少一些了。

有次家裡剛好只剩下兩顆草莓，三個人會有一個人沒吃到(絕對是爸爸沒得吃😂)；請嫩薑幫忙切開，這樣就可以分給爸爸吃了！

嫩薑吃了一塊後，我問他，

👩：「Is it sweet or sour?」

👶：「Sweet, yummy!」

其實一點都不甜，還蠻酸的！也不知道為什麼他說很甜，可能因為是自己切的吧！

⚙️ 點讀內容

-- 音檔故事內容：不是按照繪本內容逐字逐字唸，很類似賴馬有聲書那樣，是很自然的對話方式，我自己很喜歡，所以就抓出音檔開車的時候邊聽。

-- 音樂：故事唸完之後，會有一小段用唱的，把故事用歌曲方式再敘述一次；音樂很好聽。我自己是把這段音樂擷取出來，額外做成點讀，有時候嫩薑會只想聽這段音樂。

-- 點讀效果：沒什麼特殊的音效，人物對話也不多。

毛毛蟲這套「韻文大師」收錄了廖彩杏書單裡Audrey Wood的作品；難易度落差蠻大的，這本「The Little Mouse」還有之前介紹過的「Twenty Four Robbers」算是九本裡面相對簡單的；如果有購入這套書，可以先從這兩本開始慢慢共讀～
