大部分爸爸媽媽對要帶小小孩去看牙醫都覺得有點壓力，怕執行方式太強硬造成孩子的陰影。
分享兩本嫩薑到目前為止最常翻閱看牙齒相關的繪本：「Maisy, Charley and the Wobbly Tooth」，「We're Going to the Dentist.」。嫩薑從一歲半左右就很愛翻閱we’re going to the dentist，後來加上Maisy，兩次的塗氟都蠻淡定的，不會進診間就大哭，躺在看診椅上張開牙齒給醫生檢查也算冷靜，算蠻配合醫生的，推測可能是很常看這兩本書吧～還是天生淡定哥，少根筋？😆
📖Maisy, Charley and the Wobbly Tooth by Lucy Cousin(美國版)
Maisy有分美國版跟英國版；故事內容是一樣的，差別在用字，以及描述故事的句子，英國版的故事會再長一些些。(有些主題英國版很難買)
今天是Charley第一次去看牙醫，因為他的一顆牙鬆動了；他有點緊張。
👩：「How's the weather?」
👶：「Sunny day.」
👩：「It's a sunny. Charley was going to see the dentist. His friends would go with him too. That way, he wouldn't feel that nervous」「Just like you don't feel nervous with Mummy and Daddy around. 」
🔆有時候我會改問嫩薑哪些朋友陪Charley去看牙醫？「Who would go with Charley?」
他所有的朋友都陪著他去診所；在候診室有很多事情可以做唷～
👩：「Look at the things to do in the waiting room. Can you please tell me what are Charley, Maisy and Tallulah doing?」
👶：「Watching TV, reading books, looking at fish.」這邊我分別指不同角色讓嫩薑和我分享。「Eddie What are you doing?」突然自己來這麼一句，我就假裝Eddie回答「I am watching TV too!」
Maisy牽著Charley的手一起進去診間。Dr. Biteright人非常好；他向Charley展示特別的牙科治療台。
👩：「Say Hi to Dr. Bitright.」
👶：「Hi, Dr. Bitright.」
👩：「Hello, Charley, Maisy! Let me show you the special dentist's chair.」假裝是Dr. Biteright。
👩：「Can you find Charley's wibbly wobbly tooth?」仔細看Charley有顆牙齒歪歪的。
牙醫診療椅上升、下降、旋轉旋轉，然後像床一樣躺平。Charley盡可能地張開嘴巴！
🔆 嫩薑每次看這頁都覺得有趣；可能是因為這樣所以看到牙醫診所的治療椅不覺得可怕。
這樣Dr. Biteright才能看進去嘴巴裡。
👩：「Dr. Bitright gets a small mirror. What is he going to do?」
👶：「Check the teeth.」
🔆 嫩薑這時候就會搭配小道具檢查我的牙齒😂；也可以假裝是Ｄr. Biteright檢查Charley牙齒。
👩：「Nurse Spark presses the button on the X-ray machine to take a photo of Charley's teeth. Say smile Charlie.」
👶：「Smile Charley.」
Charley和Maisy學習如何刷牙，上上下下，前面後面。
👩：「Do you know how to brush the teeth?」
👶：「UP, down, front, back」
👩：「Will you follow this rule next time when you brush your teeth?」
👶：「Yes!」
Charley漱口、吐掉漱口水，然後再做一次。
🔆 這裡可以模仿漱口跟吐水的聲音。
他的牙齒閃閃發光！Dr. Biteright給了Charley一個笑臉徽章，還有一本關於牙齒的書。
👩：「Do you see Charley's X-ray photo?」
👶：「Here.」
👩：「Yeah, here it is!」
睡前，Charley仔細的刷牙，上上下下，前前後後。碰！Charely搖搖晃晃的乳牙掉了！
太棒了！接著牙仙子會來喔。晚安，Charley！
👩：「Put the tooth in a tissue and tuck it under the pillow. Then wait Tooth Fairy to come.」「What present will the Tooth Fairy swap for the baby tooth? 」「Maybe a mango? 」
👶：「Maybe a grape!」
👩：「Maybe a ball」
👶：「Maybe a basketball.」
👩：「Maybe a car.」
👶：「Maybe a bike!」嫩薑跟我玩接龍玩得很開心！😍

⚙️ 延伸活動--- I am the Dentist.
「Let's play dentist, shall we?」開始一系列檢查牙齒、拔牙、刷牙、剔牙！
👩：「My teeth are hurting! Can you check my teeth Dr. 嫩薑?」「What's wrong with my teeth,?」嫩薑拿出鏡子檢查牙齒。
👶：「a hole / crack in your teeth」
👩：「Can you fix it?」
👶：「No.」
👩：「So what are you gonna do?」
👶：「Pull the teeth out!」
👩：「Let's clean the teeth after eating.」
👶：「OK!」
👩：「What's the first step?」
👶：「Squeeze toothpaste.」
👩：「Then start brushing!」」
👩：「What do we do after we brush the teeth?」
👶：「Floss the teeth.」
👩：「Dr. 嫩薑, why we floss the teeth?」
上面角色對話我跟嫩薑大概玩將近一個月，他漸漸記下後自己可以產出簡單句子；牙線使用部分，我每天晚上在幫嫩薑剔牙的時候持續一直說一直說，講久了真的記下來了！
🔆 嫩薑使用的是「floss pick」。
謝謝Maisy讓嫩薑對於看牙醫不那麼感到害怕😂；剛好嫩薑兩歲多開始也處於喜歡角色扮演的階段，搭配牙齒玩具還蠻有趣的。
另外一本「We're Going to the Dentist.」是屬於簡單的操作書，對嫩薑來說，操作治療椅上上下下和模擬Nancy漱口的轉盤，很有趣。此外，每本書下方都有給家長的小訣竅，例如建議可以和小孩玩角色扮演，讓小孩可以在看牙醫前有心理準備。
主角有大姊姊，跟小寶寶；這是小寶寶第一次看牙醫。
椅子可以上上下下。「Open wide」很好用，每次要嫩薑把嘴巴張開開，就會說open wide.
最右邊有轉盤，邊轉Nancy嘴巴和水龍頭的水流會動。
接著換小寶寶檢查牙齒。Nancy在旁邊說嘴巴張開像我這樣。
最後牙醫教導大家要如何刷牙～
除了這兩本之外，其他中文繪本也會一起搭著看，像是「我不要刷牙」「出發囉！刷牙號小火車」「刷牙小小兵勇闖蛀牙王國」，嫩薑也很喜歡。希望他喜歡刷牙，以及不怕看牙醫可以一直陪伴他長大，養成良好的口腔衛生習慣。☺️
